Contract Business

Otsuka Pharmaceutical Factory, Inc. develops, manufactures, and distributes a variety of parenteral products in soft plastic bags and plastic ampoules. These plastic bags and ampoules have been developed based on the technologies employed for infusion solutions (plastic containers and packaging materials). At the present time, we are engaged in contract manufacturing services related to the manufacture of kit products packaged in plastic containers, such as antibiotics, for a number of pharmaceutical companies. Our technical and manufacturing expertise has received acclaim in Japan and other countries.

Striving to be the Best Partner of Patients and Healthcare Professionals

The contract manufacturing services division was established in May 2005 in order to consolidate such services. We are committed to supplying products that satisfy the needs of client companies and contribute to the well-being of patients in the clinical setting. We will make further efforts to improve our technological capabilities in plastic containers, packaging materials, and solution formulation, which have been gained through our many years of experience as a leading manufacturer of infusion solutions.

In addition to establishing solid relationships with client companies, we work to be the best partner to our customers by devising new products based on new technologies and by providing high-quality and high-efficiency production services for contract products.
