HINEX E-Gel is a concentrated liquid diet whose compositions of each nutrient are based on the Dietary Reference Intakes for Japanese (2020).
About HINEX E-Gel
HINEX E-Gel is a food which can be used for persons whose standard calorie intake is 1200 to 1600 kcal per day. It is an oligomeric formula containing soybean peptides and collagen hydrolysate.
The product contains pectin as a source of dietary fiber (0.9 g per 100 kcal).
The product has the ability to change from a liquid to a jelly in a low pH environment. The product may not change from a liquid to a jelly in the case of low gastric acidity or decreasing the amount of gastric acid. The product supplies 110 mL of water per 100 kcal, providing a good source of hydration.
Fatty acid composition with good absorption efficiency
The omega-6/omega-3 ratio is 3:1. About 34% of the fatty acids in the product are medium chain triglycerides.
The product contains no milk protein
The product is an oligomeric formula containing amino acids and low molecular weight peptides which rarely change to curd. The product can be easily handled as a liquid nutrition product.
Precautions for use
- Consume under the direction of physician or registered dietitian. When supplying nutrients with the product alone, take care about the amount of each nutrient and the amount of water.
- Never administer the product intravenously.
- Do not consume the product if the container is leaking or expanding, if abnormal color, taste, or smell is noted, or if coagulation and separation are noted when opening the container.
- When warming the product, immerse it in hot water without opening the container and warm to near body temperature. Do not heat for a long time or repeatedly.
- Do not mix with acidic substance such as fruit juice or with much salt because such mixing may cause coagulation of the product.
- Consume promptly after opening the container. After use, discard any unused product. Do not reuse.
- Consume within the best before date.
- When the product is stored for a long time, it may become white because some raw material contents may precipitate or float on the liquid surface. Shake the product thoroughly before use. Such change in color does not affect the nutrients of the product.

- In consideration of nutritional management for those with a low energy requirement, it is designed to almost fulfill the daily requirements of vitamins and trace elements with an intake of 900 kcal.
- Contains 13.5g/300kcal of protein, of which 3.5g/300kcal is collagen peptide.
- Contains MCT in consideration of fatty acid metabolism, and 50 mg of L-carnitine per 300 kcal.
- Contains 6.6 g/300 kcal of dietary fiber, of which 3.0 g/300 kcal is inulin.
- Adjusted water content per 1 bag (300 kcal) of this product to 228 g.
