Otsuka Techno launches desk shield to prevent droplet infection

Otsuka Techno Corporation (Head Office: Naruto, Tokushima, Japan; President and Representative Director: Kanji Tsukii; "Otsuka Techno"), a subsidiary of Otsuka Pharmaceutical Factory, Inc. (Head Office: Naruto, Tokushima, Japan; President and Representative Director: Shinichi Ogasawara), has launched a desk shield as a droplet infection protection material in April.

This product is a desk shield to prevent the spread of droplets, etc. in situations where contact with people is increased, such as workplaces and schools. Taking advantage of the film manufacturing technology that Otsuka Techno has cultivated as a manufacturer of molded plastics for medical use, the sheets are made of polyethylene, which can be wiped off with alcohol, etc. The seat is replaceable and combined with a lightweight, high-strength aluminum frame, making it easy to carry and use in a variety of situations. Three sizes are available: 95cm, 130cm, and 180cm wide, assuming office desks, desks with sleeve desks, and conference tables. Since it is assembled, it can be stored compactly.

With the spread of the new coronavirus infection (COVID-19), droplet control is becoming more and more important, and the demand for infection protection materials is increasing.
